What's Up in Wake Forest

The WF Juniors invite you to support the Teacher's Supply Closet this 2010.
The Wake Forest Kiwanis Club has joined with other civic clubs in the community to develop the Teacher’s Supply Closet. This will be a space that will house supplies such as paper, pencils, notebooks, crayons, clips, markers, etc. that are needed regularly by the teachers in our elementary schools. We have been offered 1,000 sq. feet of space in the shopping center next to Crossroads Entertainment to house the closet. The plan is to target assisting the following elementary schools: Forest Pines, Franklin Academy, Heritage, Jones Dairy, Long Mill, North Forest Pines, Rolesville, Sanford Creek, Wake Forest, Wakefield, and Youngsville.

The WF Juniors invite you to support the Purple Heart Foundation this 2010
An annual dinner on National Purple Heart Day, honoring Wake Forest area Purple Heart Medal recipients and their families. This years event held on Saturday, Aug. 7, at Tuxedo Junction was a huge success. Made possible by the Wake Forest Purple Heart Foundation.
