| 9/6/11 | Home Life | Buddy Run 5k: This race benefits local Backpack Buddy programs; a volunteer driven organization providing select children in our schools with backpacks of food over a weekend. If not for the Backpack Buddies, many of these children may not have a regular meal outside of school. |

| 2/25/12 | Public Issues | 2nd Annual Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss: We will have an event at the Wake Forest Library to celebrate Dr. Seuss' Birthday. We will be reading books, coloring, and participating in some fun games. Reading is fun! Kids of all ages will enjoy. |

Boys and Girls Club of Wake Forest Sallie Southall Cotten Scholarship
We support the Boys and Girls Club by donating supplies and co-hosting the annual Renaissance Ball, with 50% of the proceeds going to the club.
Girls on the Run
GOTR of the Triangle is a life-changing character development training program for girls ages 8 - 12. We support the organization with supplies, volunteering at events and financial donations. Upcoming events include:
Each year the Wake Forest Junior Woman's Club awards a one time $1500 scholarship to an area Senior for their upcoming college career.
Murdoch Center
Murdoch Center in Butner, North Carolina is an ICF/MR-certified facility. Murdoch provides comprehensive residential care for approximately 550 citizens from 18 counties in the state's Central Region. We support the group by donating cards, goodie bags, treats and Christmas gifts.
